- Join Starbucks Rewards at least seven days before your birthday.
- Enter your birthday in your Rewards account.
- Make at least one Star-earning transaction before your birthday each year.
- Check the reward in the app and redeem it at a participating café within your tier’s window.
How long do you have to redeem it?
According to the 2026 Starbucks Rewards terms, Green members redeem on their birthday, Gold members have seven days starting on their birthday, and Reserve members have thirty days. Standard menu-size restrictions and product exclusions apply.
What should you know?
The reward is not automatically available just because you downloaded the app today. Advance enrollment, your account birthday, and a qualifying earning transaction all matter. Not every location participates. Check the current terms before making a trip.
